Stuck In The Middle
With this run finished I felt pretty good overall and with what I've accomplished up until this point. And with the training plan in place I'm looking forward to getting that much fitter and faster too!

Race Day!
Just before 10:00am they called us all to the start line, it was at this point I began to wonder what I had let myself in for! But I didn't have too much time to dwell on it, the race briefing was over and the start bell was tolling and we were off.

Race Warm Up
With one eye on the weekend and the race I thought this would be an ideal time to go out and stretch my legs, the idea was to keep it relatively light and still have enough time before the race to recover.

River Run
You know, I'm spoilt for choice when it comes to where I can run. There are numerous parks close by and even a river, it was to the river that I decided to head towards for a lunch-time run. Therewere no linger side effects from my previous run so I felt good to go.

First...
Not the first you might expect though, I'm talking about my first official entry in my running journal, not the first place you gain by winning a race but still a great achievement, especially for me.
